Services

Full package deals can be negotiated to include studio time with timing and tuning, mixing and mastering. Please contact EV for more information.

Cost Summary

  • Performing: $1000 - includes full band (or + 2 flights minimum if outside Vancouver)

  • Djing: $1000 - includes 2 DJ's + sound & lights (or + 2 flights if outside Vancouver)
  • DJing & Performing: $1500 - includes full band, 2 Dj's

  • Studio time: $30 per hour
  • Timing and tuning: $200
  • Mixing and mastering: $300 (or separately for $150 each)
  • Full Track : $1000 - includes the beat, recording, timing, tuning, mixing and mastering

DJing Services

We dj & perform at festivals, club nights, high school dances, hall parties, private events, concerts, fundraisers, and more.  Please contact us about your event.  We do package deals including djing, sound, lighting, and performing.  We also offer discount prices for fundraisers. 

Packages:

  1. $500: 2 DJ's
    (common for club nights & fundraisers (less with fundraiser discount))
  2. $1000: 2 DJ's, live drumming & free giveaways + sound & lighting
    (common for weddings, hall parties and private events)
  3. $1500: 2 djs, live performance & free giveaways + sound, lighting, & projector
    (common for high school dances and large events)

Studio time

All recordings are expertly engineered and edited by juno nominated producer "E.V.". The A-Slam studio is built to record vocals and single instruments including acoustic, electric, and bass guitar.

Studio equipment includes:

  • Apex 460 condenser microphone (with polarity kit)
  • Great River PreAmp
  • DBX 160A compressor
  • Zoom bass effects kit + more

Timing & Tuning

ProTools software is used for timing, and tuning is completed with Melodyne software. Timing and tuning is the crucial step, especially for vocals, which allows for a professional recorded sound.

Mixing & Mastering

Mixing & Mastering is accomplished with ProTools using a variety of digital plug-ins including Waves, Bomb Factory and more.

CD's, CD Covers, Replication & Duplication and Printing

After recording with a-slam, we can provide several contacts for printing CD's.

Customized Clothing

After recording with a-slam, we can provide several contacts for printing clothing, as well as laptop, DJ, and cellphone stickers.
