A little about me
I am a creative and experienced freelance web designer based in Vancouver, BC. I am currently working full time as a Web Designer/Web Content Coordinator at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, the world’s largest industrial auction company, where I’ve helped develop, implement and maintain a wide range of web-based projects, from the company’s web site and intranet, to its pioneering wiki (RitchieWiki.com).
A large part of my job involves making the site more intuitive and user-friendly, enhancing the customer experience and maximizing SEO. I also create user interfaces for new web applications, maintain the content of the site, create promotional banners and widgets, and test new features. This role allows me to work with a wide range of technologies and design tools on a daily basis.
