RichieWiki was to be a comprehensive source of online equipment information. RitchieWiki is a wiki web site project sponsored by Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers.
Ritchie Bros. chose MediaWiki because it was a popular open-source product that was relatively easy to implement. A team of developers, writers and designers were assembled for the project. My responsibility was to create the wiki CSS and custom templates.
It was not without its obstacles, hidden dynamic elements and multiple style sheets for multiple browsers presented a challenge. After some long hours, we achieved what is now a robust wiki.
