Ally Noormohamed - A freelance Web designer

Services

What do I do?

Using proven methodologies and current technologies including XHTML & CSS, I create clean, creative and user-centric designs that comply with the latest web standards.

My services:

  • Front-end template design*
  • Basic usability and information architecture planning
  • Advice on web hosting solutions

*As a visual designer I focus on front-end design rather than back-end coding. The product I deliver can be easily read and coded by the developer of your choice.

How do I do it?

Every project is unique. I'm used to working on tight deadlines but I believe it’s important to take the time to create a finished product that meets the needs of its users and the objectives of its owners. My clients benefit from my start-to-finish approach to design:

  1. First, I get to know your company, your audience, your products and services – and, most importantly, what you are trying to achieve with this design. Together we identify the goals, deliverables and appropriate timeframes for this project.
  2. Next I create template wireframes. That’s a good point to regroup to ensure that the initial design meets your needs and objectives so I can make any necessary adjustments.
  3. Then I build visual mockups for the templates. This lets you see the look and feel of the design and gives you a good sense of how it will “work” for your customers.
  4. When you're happy with the mockups, I code the XHMTL & CSS for the templates.
  5. Finally, I hand you the templates: ready for coding and implementation.

Why I do it?

I love designing for the web. My passion for design can be seen in my work – but I learn something new with every design that helps me do things better the next time.
